About me

Angie Carolina is a multidisciplinary artist based in Dallas, TX. Carolina earned her BA with a concentration in art from Texas Woman’s University in Denton, TX. She enjoys experimenting with a variety of different mediums, ranging from oil pastels to fiber art, to bring her ideas to life. Inspired by her experience as a first-generation Honduran-American and her struggles with chronic illness, she ultimately aims to use symbolic imagery to make sense of her place in the world. She strives to capture emotions and memories that have haunted her, and stop time for just a second, to provide the space to contemplate.
